Ordered My Base EB W/PP~Recaros

We'll Yesterday i finally pulled the trigger and put my deposit down.

I Ordered a Magnetic EcoBoost With Performance Package and Recaro Seats.
However now i'm thinking i should have paid the extra 4grand for the premium package and got the leather seats and better looking dash! Really i could care less about the leather (never been a fan) but the Base dash is Eh..

Would you lose the Recaro's or still get them if you went Premium? Personally I hate the base dash and would never get it but if money is your concern and you upgrade to premium + Recaro's that's quite the bump.

I prefer the cloth recaros over the leather seating anyday, unfortunately for me I caved in for the premium version, i couldnt handle the plastic

yeah i love the cloth recaros but i refused to get a car with leather, i have one now and i can't go anywhere without my back sweating and recaros when leather aren't offered Cooled, so i guess i am willing to sacrifice the leather and nice looking dash for the cloth recaros. sucks but no choice, i wish it was more like the 14'models where you can add everything one by one and not as packages

The premium leather seats are cooled and they have as good bolstering as the recaros. Man so many people are suckered into that name. If you haven't sat in the new premium leather seats you're gonna slap yourself when you find out they hold you just like the Recaros and come with tons of extra features for less price.

i think im going to call the dealer tomorrow and check if they've submitted my order. If they havent i think im going to just have them get me the premium package with PP and no Recaros if thats the case. i could afford $2000 more for that package but i would def have to throw out the recaros

Trust me. When I sat in a Premium Ecoboost the car felt like it grabbed me. The stock bolstering is amazing even reviewers are saying it.

-Memory position
-memory seat back
-incredible bolster
-lumbar

So many positives you won't miss the Recaros.

They can change your order even if they submit it. The only time you can't it's when it's rolling down the line.

Called the dealer and took out the recaros and added premium package! couldn't help to think i would have a ugly radio and after looking at the interior over and over i know i wont regret it!

Although the Recaro is the right seat for the right buyer, the base seat offers about 90% of the bolstering and sense of being planted in the seat as the Recaro has.

And the bolstering is the only advantage that the Recaro seat has.... all of the other functions (heated/cooled, 6-way power adjustment) are on the base seat.

Yeah unforunatley I did. I have my galaxy s5 for navi and tbh I've never used it once in my Acura in the 5 years ive had it. Only thing is that it looks nicer.

Yeah my dude at the dealer actually called me to confirm that he had changed the order successfully and that he thought I had made the right choice as well. Im sure ill enkoy the cooled seats.

Yeah I hope so too. The dealer said 8-10 weeks but most likey before that. Also they told me that they stop production on the cars mid decemeber untill after new years. Perfect timing

Haha I haven't sat in the stock leather seats but after reading like 10 reviews and all of them saying the same thing, im sure I've made the right choice
