This pains me. I ordered the day after you on 5/3 and my build date isn’t until sept 6th. OOF. I just want my car 😂
That's crazy. I ordered mine on June 11 and got email confirmation from Ford and vin# on June 17 with a start build date of July 26. Holding my breath if that's real.

My car is currently on its way from Michigan...had a stop over in Louisville, KY, then Nashville, TN and now headed to Howell's Transfer in Georgia....just outside of Atlanta. Maybe with any luck it may get to Columbia, SC tomorrow....it's been on the train for 7 days so far.

You must've slipped into an empty slot during scheduling with a perfectly configured build for that slot. Lucky!

Not complaining on getting my vin etc....but don't understand how lots of buyers ordered months ahead of me and have later build dates. Either Ford dropped the ball in scheduling or I have an awesome dealer or its all smoke and mirrors until the stang actually shows up.

There are so many factors at play and you’ll probably never get a straight answer. Lol

congrats!! I’m taking the forced wait as an opportunity to grab some mods before the car gets here. Appetizers before the main course 😂

probably because I've been kicking this can down the road since November 2019! That's when Ford was offering 0% for i think 72 months...was actually looking at a Bullet at that time. Covid, lock downs etc put that on hold for me. Glad I finally pulled the trigger.

I helped my girlfriend get a 2020 HPP ecoboost for nearly 25% off in December. Had I known this would be the current state of things I would have bought my car then.

How are you able to track that?

Here’s a pic I found on the web during my research, but I will post more pics after I pick up the car.

I was also really set on ordering a car with the Midnight Blue interior. This video from American Muscle gave a pretty good idea on what it would look like; it had Recaros though.

Then I sat in a used California Special and decided to order than instead.

You need to get the dealer to look at your vehicles VISIBILITY REPORT and get the rail car information from the report...usually it will be one to four letters and then a series of digits. Mine was four letters and six numbers.

I wound up paying MSRP....everytime I say it I want to throw up. I just didn't want to wait any longer.

I really like everything just about everything on the CS except for the side stripes. The grille is definitely my favorite part.
