I ordered mine on March 6th...how about you? and have you checked with your dealership?

I placed the order at the dealership on the 30th of March but it seems they got it in the system on April 5th, so I’m literally a month behind. Nope, nothing yet and I just asked last week.

I'm in Alberta just north of Calgary and I ordered mine March 18th. Got a VIN number first week of April. Build date now is at August 15th and was told that's just to have a date in the system and it will probably be September or so.

I saw this note from a guy who works at Dealership over at the blueovalforum:

> Importantly, in support of your retail ordering opportunities in June, we will also enhance by $500 our current Retail Order Incentive Program, to $1,000 Open Bonus Cash for orders on selected lines placed by 7/6/21. This enhancement will be retroactive to all retail orders placed since 4/1/21.

He says he can't check which models are eligible as their internal tooling is terrible. I'll ask my sales guy if he sees indications of the Mustang qualifying for this

I won’t complain about an extra $500, but I’ll believe it when I see the car.

Cancelled my order on Friday after waiting for 5 weeks without even getting VIN. Instead the wife and I drove 420 miles (one way) to pick up this for her.

Congrats! Same options as what I'm waiting for (except mine will be iconic silver)....those rims look so much better from your pics than what I've seen prior so that's a relief....did you change those lug nuts or it came with black ones?

you're saying the black lug nuts is part of the package? I don't recall that, i mean, it's a small thing that can be changed anyway but was just curious

I changed them the next day as I had a set waiting. Additionally there are two coats of Gyeon rim coating on them.

This color is absolutely amazing with the BAP.

Geeze. I ordered my 2020 on July 9th of last year and it arrived at the dealership about a month later. I feel awful for all of you that have orders in and are stuck waiting. This chip shortage really sucks.

Ordered mine on Feb 8th. Still today no new builld date (it was scheduled for May), arrival estimated at September 18th. It should be built on June I guess to arrive in time.
Really angry with Ford and regreting of order the Mustang. 8 months of waiting, it's crazy in 2021 to have such delay for a "normal" car.

I'm from Spain and knew that the arrival was going to be a bit long (3-5 months), but not so much!

4/15 ... Got email from Ford with VIN and build week of 7/5
5/13 ... Got email from Ford with build week of 6/14
5/20 ... Got email from Ford with build week of 6/28

With the 1st two emails, the estimated delivery date was listed on the Ford site showing a week or 2 after the build week (should have wrote them down).

The delivery date box has been showing "N/A" every time I've checked since 5/20 (1 maybe 2 times a week).

This is the 6th Mustang I've special ordered since 1994 and with the exception of the '94 I've usually ordered earlier so it arrives in Spring:
'94 ... ordered 04/30 ... arrived 07/07 (10 weeks)
'98 ... ordered 02/21 ... arrived 04/29 (9.5 weeks)
'04 ... ordered 01/28 ... arrived 03/10 (6 weeks)
'11 ... ordered 02/28 ... arrived 05/21 (13 weeks)
'16 ... ordered 03/11 ... arrived 05/23 (10.5 weeks)

I know I should have ordered this '21 earlier, just had a lot of other crap going on that I did not have a chance to figure out what I wanted & get to my dealer to do it.

The sooner it gets here the better but I'm not going to get worked up about it.

Unlike past orders, the $1750 in rebates at time of order are locked in and if they get bigger between now & delivery I can upgrade.

Trust me, I hear ya Doug. I should've actually just bought the remaining 2020 when they still had a couple of em in stock that fit the spec that I wanted. They also had end of year clearance incentives ($7,500 off I believe), which would've been in line if not better than the deal I'm getting now. BUT, hindsight is 20/20, and back in January, I wasn't sure what my job situation was going to be like so there's no way I would've pulled the trigger then.
