Savona announced the following plant changes (in his words):

- Chicago Assembly Plant will be down the week of May 31 and will operate on a reduced schedule the week of June 7

- Flat Rock Assembly Plant will be down the weeks of May 31 and June 7

- Dearborn Truck Plant and Kansas City Assembly Plant – truck line – will be down the weeks of May 31 and June 7 and will operate on a reduced schedule the week of
June 14

- The Louisville, KY truck plant is closed until July 19, 2021 including their normal 2 week summer shutdown....

No interest in cancelling, got a great deal on my convertible and there is really nothing else out there. Unfortunantley its a waiting game...just think how "rare" our 2021's are going to be

I think most of us are getting impatient (more than usual) cuz of the pandemic. I know I am....i guess the silver lining is that I don't have any car payments till I et it, and I too have scored a great deal on it that there's no way I'm going to cancel

Agreed. The only mustangs I've ever had were SN95s and they just didn’t scratch the itch.

While I don't have a car payment I'm collecting car parts until mine comes in! Ordered 5/8/21, DORA received 5/17/21. No VIN yet, hopefully today. I'll be waiting for a while...

I ordered 4/28 (got email from ford same day) and got a VIN 5/13 with a build date in Aug. Hopefully you'll get scheduled soon, seems to happen on Thursdays.

Just checked the ford online vehicle status and my 7/18/21 delivery date just moved to N/A. Should be interesting to see what happens next.

Ordered on 03 May. First email I got said it was going to be built the week of 26 July. Today's email said the build date was moved up to the week of 28 June. Delivery date is still N/A though.

Last year, I ordered my 2020 GT Premium Rapid Red on 22 April 2020 and I got her at the Ford Dealer on 13 August 2020. It took in total 113 days (15 weeks/4 months)). The plant was shut down for almost 2 months in March-April 2020. Please find a picture of my Mustang called Miss Scarlet arriving at the Ford dealer.

I just had mine moved forward a month earlier today. Early Aug to Early July. No delivery date now. We'll see what happens.

I could be wrong but my sales guy told me that the ETA's shouldn't be a concern until the vehicle is built. Until that happens, ETA date is just a placeholder.
