I ordered my 16 GT premium two weeks ago on Oct. 29th...does anyone who ordered a car have an idea of how long it will take to be delivered? Dealership really doesn't know for sure...they give the standard line of 6 to 8 weeks depending on shut downs during vacations.

Sounds about right. My 13 that I ordered only took 4 weeks from start to finish. It's a crap shoot, but yes 6-8 weeks is average.

4 and a half weeks for me. And for 2 of this weeks the car was on hold for a recall. If it weren't for that recall it would have been less than 3 weeks.

Going on about 11 weeks since I ordered my car lol. Currently has a recall on it for which parts won't be available until Nov 30th.

The timeline in my sig pretty much mirrors the typical wait, other than the recall hold which generally effects those in the same build week. Be prepared for the ETA to bounce all over the place.

I was quoted 8-12 weeks because Ford shuts down during Holidays
So far 20 days and counting. What did you order?
My situation is a little unique (and unlucky).

I ordered in early June, just a few days after the 2016 order banks opened, before the 2016s even entered production. So that's several weeks right there.

My dealer put it in as a retail order, not stock. Retail gets second priority. This probably added a few weeks. (I should have asked them to put my order in as stock, but I didn't.)

Then the car got built in the cursed week of 9/28, which has seatbelt recall issues. It's a fiasco, and a complete and utter failure on Ford's part. See the loooong thread regarding this build week.

So you will hopefully (and probably) be in for much less of a wait than I've had. At least my current car is a 2011 GT, which I love. There are a few people on this forum than have been *far* more inconvenienced than me.

In any case, I ordered a GT PP Convertible, 401A, Magnetic/Red Line, Nav.

She should be a beauty ... when she arrives.

Ordered 10/23
Built 11/16

Hopefully it will ship out the next two weeks. Dealer gave me an ETA of 12/16.

Does anyone know what time cars are usually deliver to dealers? (Morning, afternoon, night)
