I haven't been able to make out the pattern, I ordered in June from CT and still no VIN, so I'd be skeptical if it worked out for you from Boston. ^ Austin, TX, however make more sense, since at they don't have to deal with the cold months up here where no one is thinking of buying a Mustang. If you really want it soon, I'd say your best bet would be to go to the dealer once they start showing up in serious numbers, nationwide, not necessarily in the area). They might be able to at least tell you a dealer that has what you want and you can call them to see if they'll sell it to you out of state. Nothing like a good road trip to break in a car. Also the more lenient you can be on your requirements, the more likely you'll find something, but that should go without saying.
