Order Summary Information

I placed my order for a 2022 GT Convertible back in October when the order bank first opened. I haven't heard anything yet about VIN number, I'm assuming because they haven't started making the '22s yet. Does anyone know what Sales Code and Order Code on the order summary means? My priority code is 10 which I've read is pretty high but I haven't been able to find any information on Sales Code or Order Code.

You are correct, with it being a 22. I also have a 22 on order, my dealer said it would around February before the VIN is issued. Im not sure about the sales code and order code having anything to do with when it gets assembled. The priority code of 10 is good though.

I wonder why it takes so long for VIN to be issued. I would have expected it to be issued in late December or early January.

I guess its easier to say February, and if we get it in January he doesn't look bad.

Hey what's up.. I am in the same boat , 10/26/21 order my priority code is 19
I'm not sure how fast I will get a vin# but I heard first deliveries are Feb 2022 but I really can't say for sure

That will be on the paperwork you signed at the dealership, when you placed the order.

Ok, I found that, it says 19. I guess that's not a good number?

Call your dealer and have them change it to a 10-12, my dealers priority code was 12 for my order

Kind-of afraid to mess with it for fear that it'll bump me back in the que (assuming that orders are prioritized to some degree based on when they were placed). I googled it and found that most people have a 19 for their special ordered Ford, across all models. I'll let it ride. That'll give me a chance to save more of a down payment.

Understand, I am chomping at the bits to get my car. with an estimated time of building being in March of next year, I wish I had a code 1...lol. Good luck with your order, lets hope all of us who have ordered and re-ordered get our cars.

my priority was 19 and if i recall, all of us who got ours around november had diff priority numbers and everyone else was like 10-12, and my stuff shipped out same time as everyone elses, was built same time too. idk how much of a difference that actually makes?

I actually changed my order to a 10speed auto from a 6speed manual, today I got a vin# and a build week
For a 2022 placed order Last days of October and made a change like a week ago

That's very encouraging. Hopefully I get my VIN soon. My order was placed on October 16th. When is your build week?
