Yeah, most coatings are more susceptible to water marking, from what I have read. That said on Opti-Gloss I find that ONR and Opti-Seal gets rid of, and prevets them from coming back, to a degree. Have to keep that routine up every week or two or the water spotting comes back.

Final observations:
  1. The Gloss-coat last ~1.5 years. I recently noticed the beading had stopped. When I began correction I noticed there was quite a bit of swirling, so it was gone for some time before I noticed.
  2. The self-healing water spots are a bit annoying, but they go away on their own eventually.
  3. I am trying a Gtechniq system next. While I loved the shine of the Gloss-coat, I'd like to see something a bit harder, and even longer-lasting. We'll see if the Qtechniq measures up.
