Stripes are a personal preference thing as mentioned like wheels. I'm a stripe guy but I like the looks of them all the way not just the hood top and trunk.

I got mine from Big Worm and love them.

It's totally a personal preference thing. My wife absolutely HATES stripes on cars. She was kind of upset to hear I planned on doing stripes on mine. When she saw the finished product, she was totally surprised at how much she liked them. I've gotten a number of compliments from people who started the conversation by saying "I really don't care for stripes on cars, but those look really good". I have the MMD V Series stripes from AM.

I would say that the narrower "GT350" style stripe doesn't really look complete without running down the front and rear. The stripes on "detector's" car looks bad ass in my opinion.
