Well my new 20" Wheels will be here Wednesday, so its time to get my tires on there way. If I order today or Monday they will be here Thursday which works for me. My issue is I have read so much on the choices I have, my head may explode.

I don't race and never will. I love the GT but am told my driving is not even close to aggressive and I don't want tires that will be noisy or ride worse (Than Stock) or wear out fast, so there you have it. Below are my possible choices, Some are very affordable and all get good reviews here and there. None of these can I find any bad things about other than wear and some are noisier than others.

I have the GT base so, 18" P Zero Nero now, would like what I get to be quieter and ride as good if not better?

If you have had experience with or have tried any of these let me know, not looking for this is crap or those are no good based on no knowledge opinion, but if you know something is substantially better riding and quiet or not, those opinions I would like. They will all be 255/35/20 on FR500 American Muscle Wheels 20x8.5

Falken Azenis PT-722 - Dealio on this one and not bad reviews.

Nitto Invo - Highest Price of these, But look really cool.

Goodyear Eagle Sport All Season - Reviews say these are the quietest of any of these.

you're gonna get a thousand opinions...but out of that list specifically i'd go invos personally. Although I wouldn't dump my mickey thompson street comps... really loving them. still got 2x 255/35/20 for sale. well on ebay but it ends tonight.

just curious why did you go 8.5 all around?

hey there, looks like we're on opposite ends of the process. I know that I want 20" wheels but have not yet decided which to get. Leaning towards Forgestar F14

I also wanted pretty much the same things you mention on the tires. I am not a racerboy or rich enough to afford those "state-of-the-art" performance tires that run well over $300 dollars a corner.

I read lots of reviews like you did. Pretty much developed the same list of options except would not consider any all-season choices. I live in So.Cal so a nice Summer tire compound works year-round.

I got the Sumitomo HTR Z III from Discount Tires online. A fantastic price for 275/35/20 size under $160 ea.

Got all (4) of these because I'm doing a "square setup" with all four corners the same wheel/tire/offset.

that's why I like the Forgestar F14 since it comes in a 20x9.5 with proper offset.

Obviously and unfortunately I cannot give you any road-test experience that validates or negates the Sumitomo tires. They are stacked in my garage right now

You wanted quiter and better... you probably shouldn't have gotten 20" rims.

20" rims not only limits your tire choices but it creates more centrifugal forces.

I hear ya

I knew there might be some ride changes due to the 20", but within those differences I wanna get a good riding, quiet tire. I wont every race the car, so I don't have to have the stickiest. I just want a good all around tire that wont break the bank and still handle well too.

I have almost decided to go with the Goodyear, cant find any bad things written by anyone about it and with the Rebate it ends up being around $131.00 a tire.

But if someone has any of these and has any opinions I would love to hear it, Still love the looks of the Invo but they will last way less miles and cost around $36.00 more per tire.
