Completely agree, car people are car people and they are most likely the safest people to park next to. This is how I park every day:
Wow that Camaro has a big butt. :)

I have found a corner spot on garage roof at work away from all cars. A new F150 found a similar spot on the other end. Then one day someone was parked next to him. I would have been pissed; F150 moved his car to another spot later same day.

After I got my 2003 Boxster back to prime condition someone backed into it while it was sitting in parking lot at work. Was in the shop three months waiting for parts and getting fixed. With nearly everyone multi-tasking as soon as they get in the car, I don't want my beloved Mustang near any of them.

Hah! I still like the gen 5 Camaros (I dearly wanted one for years,) but I do wish they were smaller. IMO they're way too cramped inside for being such a big car. I'm excited to see how the gen 6's come out being on a smaller platform!

The parking lot at my job is huge and mostly unused on one side of the building, so that is where I park. That side also has a bunch of windowed offices, and I heard through the grapevine that people were trying to figure out who the owner was after I parked there for a few days :headbang:

Otherwise I typically park on a end spot, and if all else fails, next to someone else with a nice car that looks cared for. The last part being important- there was a guy with an IS-F at my job, I drooled over it at first...not so much a year later when it looked like he had never washed it once. Dirt all over the paint and brake dust encrusting the wheels. Just sad...
