Congratulations, Bruce! (And cheers to Nancy for encouraging you to go for it!)

I love your reasons for going with the Bullitt -- similar to mine, as I was considering a GT too. It's a gorgeous color and I never get tired of looking at it. :) The faux cap has grown on me a bit, but I'm still not sure I won't follow aileron's example in swapping it out for a plain panel with the lettering from the '01.

Being out here on the left coast, I probably won't run into you at the local Cars & Coffee, but best of luck in your new Bullitt... enjoy!

(p.s. I see you had (or still have?) a '65 GTO... that was my dream car growing up; you're a fortunate man!)

Congrats, Bruce. You should try to make Ford Nationals in Carlisle, PA at the end of this month. It's an awesome event, and you'd likely meet other Bullitt owners from this forum.

(Understand the love of a Goat. I had a '71 GSX and an '87 Grand National)
