If he's at least halfway decent as a track day driver, he ought to be able to hit mid-130's at either of NJMP's courses. 300-ish HP is enough to put a Mustang into a GPS-verified mid-120's with plenty of room left for braking. Not that it matters, but I think I was 68 at the time this frame was recorded.

Want a Laugh, My Wife Bought it for me.

My suv developed a reoccurring issue that was enough of an annoyance we wanted it gone. Asked me what I wanted, I said a Mustang as we were looking at F150s. She said "Ok, the trucks are ugly anyway." We looked at one, I was super easy to get in and out of. Unlike my previous ones. It drove easy, too easy. I thought that was it on the subject.
While researching trucks & SUVs, I looked for Blue GTs for a laugh. I found 2 in the nation right options and right color. 1 in Ga. the other was 2.5 hours away.

Well we had to run a errand to get elastics for covid masks. One of her friends makes them and couldn't get to the store before her hold expired.
There was no elastics. There was however a Velocity Blue GT A10 PP1 sitting in front of a Shelby Super Snake Pickup.

I smile every time I'm in it. If I told you I do not drift it around corners, yea not going there.

I did try to do some track days, yay COVID cancellations. I drive it like I stole it. I feel like I'm 20 again when I'm in it.

My wife May have been Prophetic with her aversion to the "ugly" F150. As I cannot get into my buddy's 19 4x4 anymore. Even my Wifes car is a bit a hassle to get in and out of. The Mustang I fall right into the seat, getting out is a turn and stand. Between the door frame and seat back I have enough places to hold and push off of. The seat is perfect for me. Its one of the few places I'm relatively pain free. It will most likely be the last car I drive. 'Cause F*ck ALS.

I'm in the same position I have stage 4 melanoma but so far I'm responding to the treatments. I also have to say you have a great wife treat her well and hang on to her. Glad to hear you are responding to treatment. I am moderately slow in my progression. Bulbar onset, so top down vs legs up.
We are waiting on the FDA for NuOwn. It wont help all of us. But those it does help, some have had documented regression. As in going from bedridden to running around the FDA meeting room. So we re hopeful.
I got stupid lucky when she agreed to go on a date 32 years ago.

I found a lightning Blue 19 today, pulled up while I was getting fuel. She was 71, didn't know about the board so may stop in an take a look around. She had a Roush supercharger put on it this summer. Apparently It was really hard on tires since.

She is LOUD and FAST!
My daily goal is for her to stretch her legs 120-130's which she does 90% of the time.

I hear you just changed my oil yesterday and it's kind of tough crawling around under the car but I saved 100 dollars doing it myself. Dealer wanted almost 150 bucks, oil and filter 47.50 diy!

That's insane... Mine charges $39.95 for an oil change, tire rotation, fluid top off and their "multi-point" inspection.

mea culpa, padre. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity, on a clear road, limited access re on/off ramps, in a place I've lived for 35 years. No one in sight, I did a run by to check for potholes, deer, etc. My decision, and no other human was nearby. I saw I car pull out onto the road about a mile ahead of me and I slowed down, not sure what he was planning. I pays my money, I takes my chances. As I previously said, it was when the pandemic was at its highest here and the roads were deserted. I know it will never happen again. BTW I'm 69, and a licensed rigger in NYC. Next week I'll be rigging a hanging scaffold on a 16 story bldg in Jersey City, provided the roof is not iced up. And as we know our cars are engineered to perform. I don't approve of reckless/swerving/tailgating/drag racing on streets etc.
And I appreciate the advice, and no disrespect, but if I want a sermon I'll go to church.

Taking turn 12 at Thunderbolt Raceway at 100 MPH is a real rush. The Mustang feels at home on the track and didn't kill me on the 6 hr ride to and from VIR.
