Hi all,

I've pulled the trigger on a Mishimoto direct fit oil cooler and a Mishi radiator for my non-PP GT. The last few times on the track, CHT temps were getting up there.

Many OP's say that the oil temp and coolant temp gauge temps are calculated and I'd like to install a true oil temp gauge with the sender on the Mishimoto sandwich plate.

My questions are for folks that installed a gauge; what temps are you seeing, and what locations/gauge mounts are you using?

Thx

I used a 2 1/8" autometer gauge in an a pillar pod. Ordered a sandwich plate for $25 with the correct threads and diameter off eBay.

The dash is consistent with the gauge. The start of the green is about 135-140 degrees, vertical on the dash is usually around 175ish.
Highest my digital gauge has read is 220 after a 0-160 pull and I was going too fast to look at the dash

Yeah, I was looking at those pillar pods. The fit and finish look good?

In passing it looks fine, if you look closely the plastic sheen is a little different.
Autometer uses a single bolt on the top and clips for the bottom, unlike the stock piece using only clips

I cant help with the oil temp gauge, but I have been very happy with my Autometer pillar.

Fit/finish is pretty good, install was a bit of a pain but otherwise I'm very happy with it. There are some pics on post #3 in my build log.

Just checked out the pic, it does look good! What were the pain points with the installation? Was it the cabling or the pod itself?

Wiring wasn't bad, I'm used to wiring car electronics, fitting in and installing the pod was the hardest part. I scratched up my inspection sticker a bit fighting with it but eventually got it in.
