Steve said if anyone has any issue they are also making a revised bracket with a slot instead of a hole so you can adjust it a little up and down.

I wonder if they will exchange mine or made any indications they will exchange cans out. I haven't installed it yet. Rather be safe than sorry puncturing the hood liner if it's rubbing that close.

Or I wonder if with a drill we can just expand the hole into more of a slot; it seems like pretty thick metal though to get through.

Did Steve mention when the revised bracket will be ready to ship?
He's posting at the other site, this was his reply to Budwise:

I'm having machinist change the hole to a slot so you can drop it down a little more. I looked at my car and nothing on my hood liner, so it might be the angle off the mounting point that changes the clearance. It must barely be touching in your car. Regardless have a replacement bracket going to you today once out of powder coat, and if anyone else notices so rubbing let me know and I'll send you one too.
Why does this site not allow links to S V T?

I've read bad history between the owner of that site and the owner of this site.

Does anyone have a link to where we can buy the OEM plastic connectors on each end that plug into the head? Would rather buy the connectors for a few bucks and leave the stock hose/connectors all as 1 piece to swap back in with 2 quick clicks in case of warranty work etc. than take them off the OEM hose.

Just installed the Bobs Ultimate GT Oil separator on my RR '15 5.0 GT. Got it from Revan Racing and their shipment was quick. Took about 30 min. to install. Have to use the original factory clips and then heat sink them back on the new Bobs hoses but that was easy to do. Hardest part was cutting the very stiff factory PCV hose and removing the clips. Also make sure the Bobs supplied heatsink, one for each hose, was on each new hose before squeezing on the factory clips. Did not have to trim the Bobs supplied hoses, the length was just right. The long hose to the throttle body and the short hose to the valve cover fitting. This oil separator can not be used on a 15 GT with the strut tower brace unless you get the needed bracket for that application. Looks great and will greatly reduce the amount of oil sludge going back into the throttle body and engine.

the new bracket is supposed to work with the strut tower brace.

So I just took the plunge with Bob's. Simple as pie. Unbolt the ground wire by the battery and mount the Bob's on that screw. Unclip both ends of the factory vent hose (see JLT install Youtube video which shows how) and cut off the OEM hose to get the 2 fittings. One fitting onto the length of tube they give you with a clamp and plug into the head, hold it up to the separator and cut, toss a clamp on and snug. Same with the top to the intake.

Took a whole 20 min or so and I've never done one before.

Have an OEM hose/2 fittings setup coming from Rockauto. If I need warranty work, now that its all put together and tightened just unclip both hoses and unbolt the separator and clip back in the OEM hose. Shouldn't take all but 5 minutes to swap.
