I ordered the Ford performance one which are currently out of stock at CJ Pony Parts so waiting for more stock to come in. They sent me an 8% coupon code which is pretty good.

Also ordered the JLT one & 5% to members of Mustang6G. Hit the buy button before I realised that I should've got the Hood Struts as well. Doh!

Contact there support department. Some parts I ordered went on sale three days after I placed m,y order. They removed all those parts and reordered them at the sale price without me even having to ask

I installed UPR mounted near the front RHD Head Light. Its pretty big, probably have to empty only 3-4 times a year shouldn't be a problem. It gives peace of mind that it is mounted and not hanging in the engine Bay. But every one has their own choice and preference. Steve form UPR recommended it and I am happy with the quality and ease of install.
Here are some Pics of the mounted CAN

I would check it a t least monthly at first. My can catches a lot of oil. I put 100+ miles a day on my car and am fairly spirited in my driving so lots of accumulation. I am starting to think I should check my oil more often...

Thanks mate. Mines is a weekend car and I have only done 400 Ks in a month.
But I am also bit spirited in driving, couldn't resist myself.
Based on that I agree I should check bit more often than I mentioned earlier.
Thanks for the tip

I have the same can - what a beautiful piece of crafted metal it is!

Like you, I love the way that it is fixed and not floating around.

I too was thinking about how often to empty, and figured take a look after a few months and gauge it from there.

I still can't believe what such a beautiful piece of metal machining this is, and the hoses all look solid.

It's a bit of a bitch to empty though. Need 2 spanners to open the bolt at the bottom. I did mine on the weekend. I would have preferred the screw on bottom.

You're right, the removal of that small nut at the base looks to be a bit of a pain, but not a problem to me given that you don't have to do it all that often.

Question - when you tighten that drain nut, how do you know how tight to make it? I'm wondering whether a little Loctite (Removable with tools) should be used.

Thoughts?

I put some Teflon tape on it, and tightented it hard (but not too much). I used a large spanner on the bottom, and tightened the bolt with a socket wrench until it wouldn't go any further, then a final push to ensure it's on correctly.
