Thanks for all the replies guys. The dealer garage is now in a high category CV19 restricted area, so took the Bullitt to the guy who looks after my DC2 and yes it was the oil filter. He just undid the protective pan/shield and hand tightened by about a quarter turn :) . All cleaned off and away we go. No need to look to the dealer now other than if any other warranty issues arise.

It could be the oil sensor which is near the oil filter... it’s another S550 common source for the oil leaks... Many (across all platforms) have found that sensor to be loose; clean all the oil off around it and the oil filter, then tighten both up up a few turns. Check for any additional signs of seepage.

I found a few drops of oil in the garage after I had the first service/oil change on my Mustang.

Cue me feeling extremely worried. Turned out to be when the mechanic removed the oil filter, he didn't take the appropriate measures to avoid spilling oil over the front sub-frame or even clean up the mess properly. The result being oil drops on the garage floor and an angry customer.
