Not today unfortunately. Skipped the Nationwide raced to got the the World of Outlaws finals.

Finally got home from work to watch it. Really pissed at myself for not going this year. Sat in the rain and wind for 10hrs last year. This gets me ready for Daytona 24 in January though.

I was there for the '13 24. I want to go back but I have a Love Hate relationship with the new series. Nothing like 4AM at the 24!

2AM was my favorite time at Daytona this year. Everything was relatively quiet in the infield and you could really pick out individual car sounds through NASCAR 1&2 into the bus stop. With the LEDs on all the cars and the ferris wheel lit up...just awesome.

It's a huge walk but standing on the fence at 2AM in the braking zone after the front stretch = AWESOME I was never at peace as much as I was walking around there after midnight to 5AM. Everyone should do it once.

Tim if you ever get a chance to go you need to try the Monterey Historics at Laguna Seca. Its a way better track to spectate and to see a $38 Million Ferrari 250 GTO being beat on like it owes someone money is awesome.
