Alright I have spent almost all day researching trying to make sure I have everything right before I purchase my wheels. I have a 2019 mustang GT non premium lowered on steeda progressives and am planning on buying the Niche Essen 19x10 +40 rear, 19x8.5 +35 front will I have any fitment issues?? I’m thinking I’ll probably have to run rear spacers if I want a good flush fitment from what I’ve read let me know though…Also what would probably be the best size tires to run on each?

That should work, IMO. Tire size depends on the tire mfg recommendations, but a 245(f), 275(r) would be about right.

What size spacers do you think I’ll need to run 20mm or 25? And I’m assuming just in the rear front should be okay with the 35 offset

I don't think you'll need spacers, unless you are just trying to get the outside of the wheel more flush with the fender.

Gotcha last thing say I wanted to keep the same wheels but go 20’s instead could I do that and keep the same offset? So like 20x10 +40 rear and 20x9 +35 front

I've never put 20's on, so I can't say without running through a calculator. I would suspect at least 45 rear. But that's a guess. Other people here have experience with 20's. I'm sure they'll chime in. But before carrying the discussion any further, best to tell everyone what you want to do with the car...autocross, track, cars and coffee, grocery getter?

There are a lot of threads here which probably address your application. Also, Apex wheels have a great fitment guide (and great products & support).

I’m a little larger in the rear. 20 x 11 on 305’s. My offset is 50. I’m also a PP1 not lowered.

10ā€ ET40 rear doesn’t need a spacer. 20mm would easily put it out past the fender.

mount the new wheels, then seen for yourself.

9ā€ ET 35 front is actually a little conservative. A ET20-25 would be better IMHO, but it depends a little on the tire your running.

I was originally thinking of going with +25 front but was afraid of it poking too much, will it not?

not with a front wheel thats only 9ā€ wide, (assuming you have a standard sized tire on it.

square 10ā€ ET35 wheels are common and fit fine. Using a 9ā€ front wheel is 12.7mm less poke, so the equivalently flush offset would be 35-12.7 or ET 22.3mm.

Personally I’d run a wider front wheel, but thats me.

I wanted to do that aswell but couldn’t find a 11ā€ only 11.5 so if I went up to 20x11.5 in the rear and 20x10 or 10.5 in the front the offset in the rear would probably have to be like 40-50 I’m guessing? And the front around 30?

No, I meant just run 10" front AND rear.

10 ET35 front, 11" rear setups are super common btw. The 11 rears are usually ET 50-52.

10.5 fronts with a staggered larger rear are pretty uncommon, but some people do make 10.5" fronts work. That's wide enough where things start to get pretty tricky and you start having to factor in camber, etc.

FWIW, I just got wheels from LMR. Their site shows lots of examples and pictures of different sizes and offsets and back spacing etc etc. PLus the reviews also have lots of real world examples.

So would I be good to run 10ā€ upfront with +40? Because they don’t have any in stock right now for anything less than that in 10ā€
