In Poland there is no separate tax for car (all taxes You pay are in car price or gas price), that is why V8 is olny 42 000 euro.

I agree, yearly taxes is the bad thing:
In Italy
EB road tax 765 + 920 luxury tax = 1685 yearly
V8 road tax 1060 + 2440 luxury tax = 3500 yearly

Gas taxes has its own part in this choice: this morning it's 1,620 eur/l

So us lot in the UK should stop our moaning about the cost of running cars over here.

Really feel for you guys.

The V8 is about £1000 road tax for the first year (included in the price) then £505 per year after.

The EB is about £500 in year one then around £260 there after.

So is today the official launch day? Doubt anything will happen in Britain as it's a public holiday here today. I'm still working though as I have to save up for the car lol.

Our big automobile group (Fita/Alfa Romeo/Lancia, now in partnership with Chrysler) is only interested in selling small cars, hence the infamous "luxury tax" on high power cars..
