The lighter the knob, the more force you need to apply in order to move to the next gear. With a notchy transmission like the mt82, the increased weight helps to counter some of that feeling. I know ill eventually ill end up buying a 600-700g+ knob for my 15.I don't see the issue with a light shift knob.
The boomba is a great knob over stock imo. Feels good, I like the material of construction, and its 220g which is ~65% heavier than stock. Solid black with just the shift gate pattern and small logo at bottom. No bright colors or glossy finish, so it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb and looks like it could be a factory piece.. and thats exactly the look I prefer
