The little pony projection lamp light is dangling from the side mirror and after 4K miles, I noticed my Premium Ecoboost doesn't have the illuminated door sills:doh: there's also a rattle that comes and goes. I also want to get the transmission, engine oil, and all the usual tune up stuff done
I installed the cobb accessport (awesome) but now it is time for warranty repairs.
I uninstalled it and now the oil pressure goes up to 80 PSI at 5500 RPM. Maybe i'm just really paranoid and I'm paying attention to things that I didn't before
Is this too high or am I crazy?
Tell me if I'm wrong but isn't the 0-60 the best indicator of a neck-breaker? For a daily driver, that what's the most fun for me. The "throw you in your seat" factor?
With Cobb's accessport, when you change maps it cause the car to make the "fake noise" to go off on various RPM levels. It's very quiet and makes minimal difference. It's not necessarily trying to make it sounds like something it isn't. I don't think it's worth the effort of changing. Without...
I wanted to wait for the Ford tuner but I decided not to for 4 reasons
1. My customer service experiences with ford have been sub par
2. I don't think they'd do any custom tuning for mods.
3. My warranty guy is totally on board with a tune. Just change it to stock for repairs
4. I'm impatient
The check engine light would be enough for me to return it. I'm also concerned about messing something up. I've put 500 miles on my Cobb tuner and no problems
I have the Cobb tuning and I find it extremely difficult to get the same MPG with the high-performance map as the fuel economy map. For everyday trips, I have it on the fuel economy map and I can switch it very quickly if I want to get into it or I'm first at the stop light etc. You don't have...
Very impressed and interested in your products. 2 questions.
1. Have any of the upgrades caused a check engine light or any problems?
2. Is it 100% safe for a daily driver?
Received my Mustang 3 weeks ago and it has a very streaky substance. I can only see it when the car is wet/humid and the friction it creates is very noticeable on a microfiber towel and the windshield wipers. I've washed the car 3 times and clean the glass daily. It still hasn't come off. HELP
Could the long wait be because of proper testing, that the other aftermarkets don't do? Maybe to ensure that those who use the tune won't use the warranty (spend dealership's money)?
Amazing results. Glad I got an EB but I have 2.5 concerns. (Mpg=.5)
Would this be a tune that is safe for daily driving? No risk or extra wear and tear?
Would I have to upgrade anything else to be able to safely support the tunes extra power?
And what impact would the tune have on mpg?
