LOL We actually ran this before the 10.5 glory run!

We ran within a couple hundredths each pass that day. I am working on it for you, hang in there

Brad's car didn't fail after his run though. Word at Milan was that yours did. He also went 10.6 and 10.7, so far from glory.

Our car failed on the dyno here...after we tried to hit it with a Mike Tyson sized uppercut of laughing gas. I saw it as it happened.

We have to know where the limits are with OUR car if our clients are going to beat everyone. The biggest difference between us and the "BG" crew is that we are also tuning cars. Also, it's not fair to compare a flat out race car to anything else. Our car is far more akin to one sitting on a dealership lot.

#Gloryrun ! When I ran that day, I hit a 11.73, a 11.585 and the 11.490.... each time I did something different to improve my times. Isn't that the point of drag racing? Improving ones times?

Not terribly impressed with that, considering I went 7.88 @ 88.1 in full street trim. I still had heavy 18x9 AMR wheels up front, and 18x10 rears, with worn out 555R DRs. But, I will say that's getting down the track pretty well for a M/T car. These small factory turbos are tricky to launch.

^This and the fact that we have yet another car that is tearing up tracks:

Went to Orlando earlier tonight for their Wednesday night T&T, and set a new personal best. Pass was made in full street trim with no weight reduction, 275/40-17 NT05 drag radials, and heavy AMR 18x9's up front. I think with a few more tweaks to driver and car..lol..I should be able to get in the 11's on E30/street trim.

Vehicle, Trim & Options: '15 Mustang Ecoboost base w/auto trans

Are you using the paddles? Shift RPMS? What RPM are you launching?

I went down this same path, lol. Mod for mod we were pretty much identical and my setup went 11.8 at a slightly higher DA.

Yep, using the paddles. Toggling the shift at 6k 1-2, then 5800 from then on. Launching at 8-9#, not watching the tach so much. Only time I watch the tach is during the burnout. I try to stay below 5k in 2nd gear during burnout.

I'm probably over-revving 1st a bit....have to be quicker on the paddle with the shorter tires + leaving under boost. I usually run on 285/40-18 555Rs, but wanted to give my 275/40-17 NT05s a shot last night. I made a pass on my regular street tires, and only lost .5-1 mph over the DRs and 2 tenths, only the 2nd pass on the street tires..lol.

That's about right for shifting. I shift around 6200 with the trans tune.

I don't watch the boost guage at the line, I just try to bring the car up to around 3100-3200 on the brakes. I've even used the AP shift light so I can keep my head up. Working on a raptor shift light with launch RPM for next season.

You can make up the time in the short game 8th, that's where these cars shine. Give the RPM launch a try and keep your first shift about where it is next time out.

I also was running around 21-22psi in my 275/40-17 drag radials and went a bit quicker.

If you figure out the Raptor, let me know. I have one sitting on the shelf in my garage collecting dust. It was fairly simple to hook up on my '13 V6, but no idea how it would hook up on the '15. I have the AP mounted low on the center stack, so shift light on it wouldn't be visible. May have to move the mount location so I have some shift indication until the Raptor sitch is resolved. I'll give the launch rpm a go the next time I hit the track.

I need to get my DRs on some wider wheels....have them on 99-04 GT wheels at the moment, so they aren't putting full footprint down. Still nailed down a 1.64 on a pass, but I know there's more possible. I'm down to 18# on the radials, but my 18's liked 20-21 best.

Just need a tach adapter. I'm splicing into my tach lead for my aux injection.

Just need to find out what adapter is needed for the Eco. On my 3.7, I had to tap into the ign lead at the ECM harness. If I remember to do it, will send Raptor an email to see if they figured out the wiring scheme.

Split Second's adapter is pretty easy to use. I tapped into the ign at the coil ( to keep from running tons of wire).

I'm sure the others like MSD would be just as easy. If you need wiring info just shoot me a PM. I snagged a service manual with the diagrams.

Is the Split Second adapter available by itself, or part of the secondary fuel control system? If it's by itself, it will be on my short list to get ASAP. Which part number did you use? Maybe I can finally put that Raptor to use after a year of it sitting on the shelf..lol.
