2021 Mustang GT. Odometer is right in the lower left corner. Is that interchangeable to change it to Tripdometer or is that forever there? Thanks!

Not sure if this answers your question, but if you have a digital dash cluster you have two trip odometers. I have that trim, so I'm not sure about the standard, non-digital dash.

But if you do have the digital cluster you can press the gear on the steering wheel, then select Trip/Fuel Info. From there you can scroll up/down access the either of the trip odometers, tire pressures, etc.

Hi yes. I have digital cluster and I do have to use that in order to see the tripdometer. So the lower bottom left corner where it shows overall odometer is fixed and cannot change to just trip?

That's just the vehicle miles total odometer. I know where you are coming from, as I like to see gauges normally on my main screen. But, it is what it is...pressing a steering wheel switch each time I want toggle over to the trip odometer screens.

yeah I all other vehicles I have ever driven. Where the odometer of total miles usually can be scrolled or switched to “trip A or Trip B” I don’t need a constant reminder of how many total miles I got on my Mustang. It’s annoying.

Can this be toggle or switched to trip like other cars or only at the center where you can see trip, fuel mpg ? Is that circled in green Constant?

Yes, that's always the total number of miles (or kilometers) and cannot be changed. I know what you mean, but no, in the Mustang it's not possible.

To be honest, I prefer it like this. I hate it in other cars, when I want to see the total number and I need to fiddle with a small button and go through six or seven options until I get to the right one. And more often than not I would make one press too many, and then I'd need to go through all of them again, but this time much slower and more carefully. This is the case with my mother's car, and I absolutely hate it. I take it to a local garage for a periodic checkup, and they ask me how many kilometers on it, and I have to say, "oh, gee, I've no idea, please wait, I'll try and find out".
Having the trip odometer separately is best, in my opinion.
