Precisely
Drop the obvious stuff. Spare tire if you have one, subwoofer if you have one, strut and k brace, both sway bars, back and passenger seat if you really want to go nuts, engine and battery covers, exhaust saves quite a bit going aftermarket. On my car recently I shaved about 300 lbs out of it from stock for fun. Stumpy dumped catless exhaust, big and little tire setup, and the above mentioned stuff.

Yup pretty much done all of that before on my first 18.. Looking for other ideas! I think at one point I got it down to 3450 with me in it, but didn't get it to the track in time at that weight

Take the audio system out, carpet padding, a/c, how race car you wanna go? LOL After those it gets expensive. Aerospace brakes, Fiber panels, etc.

Yup I think carpet and speakers are next! Thanks for the idea!
Aerospace is definitely one of the big ones I need. Roughly 60-80lbs or rotating mass shaved off if I'm not mistaken

Stop eating food only liquid protein and no fatties in the car. The night before a race flush your colon out. Lol
