Its really strange, mine no longer vibrates. I haven't changed anything on it. Its back to sounding its normal self.

The only thing I can put it down to is that I went on a 400km drive a few weeks ago and either that part that was vibrating came loose and went out the back of the exhaust, or the exhaust got hot enough for the part to weld itself in spot.

For reference the mustang is about to clock up 2700kms.

Mine's just turned over 3100km today, it only does it on deceleration once the exhaust has warmed up, so it's an odd one.

There are a few cars with this problem, it is the resonator, the dealer will replace on warranty.

Are they just replacing the resonator - as in cutting it out and fitting another, or are they doing the whole exhaust, given the factory system is one piece.

New resonator ordered under warranty - the noise is getting considerably worse, people give me funny looks when I coast past. :(
