Got in my car this morning and got some odd messages.

When I first fired it up, it asked if I wanted to enable Automatic Updates, and I declined since Sync had pissed me off so bad on the last revision. Immediately after indicating I did not want to enable the updates, I got an error message on my cluster saying that Hill Start Assist was not available. I thought all of this was odd but continued to back out and get moving. As I was backing out of the garage I got another message on the Nav screen that had a gray background, drawing of a car, and a red X over the car with no text at all. This popped up intermittently for about two minutes. Once I got rolling I noticed that Rev Match was no longer working but everything else appeared to be fine.

After I dropped my son off at work I stopped at a coffee shop and when i came back out all errors were gone. Weird. Anyone else had any of this happen?

Notes:
I updated to the most recent Sync revision 1/1.5 weeks ago.
The car only has a catback on it, no tune etc.

Strange stuff like that happens from time to time the best thing to do is turn the car off open the door and shut it to kill time delay power wait 15 seconds then restart. It's usually just a program error that resets it's self my 13 Escape gave me electronic power steering error code for the 1st year I had it the doing the above always corrected it.

Also try doing a master reset of the sync system. Why, who knows. All you can do is either keep throwing stuff on the wall and hoping something sticks or bring it back to the dealer.

And this is why those of use keeping our cars beyond the 3/36 pay for the Ford extended warranty. The amount/complexity of the electronics in our cars is crazy.
