Odd noise

I have an odd noise...almlost a quick pop or cracking sound coming from the pillar on the passenger back seat. Sorry I don't know what pillar that is. The noise seems to he coming from inside the headliner at that joint. My car was rear ended about 3 months, think they could be related?

Also had anyone else noticed a rattle or weird noise coming from that area? It seems to happen under acceleration and braking

Funny, I'm hearing a weird noise from passenger pillar as well. Only happens when first taking off, with the car cold. I get a loudish "pop" then nothing. Didn't happen this winter and now happens when the car is fairly hot inside before the ac cools it down. Nothing I'm particularly worried about, Just strange. :shrug:

Sounds like we have the same issue. I can't say I'm worried about it either but I'd love to be able to fix it. So far it's the only noise the car makes.
