Can anyone on this forum run an OASIS report? Two local dealers won’t, one is super busy and said they don’t have time, the other gave me the whole speech about how it’s ford’s property and how did I even know about it. Just want the history on my car before I got it. Looks like it was a dealer demo car to me but not sure.

feel free to PM

Did you buy the car from a Ford Dealer?

If so, the Selling Dealer should be able to run an OASIS for you - it’s not top secret or classified info…. LOL! And “Ford’s property”? LOL…. Yes the system may be Ford’s, the data within may be Ford’s but if you own the car and can prove ownership they can and should certainly run you an OASIS.

The OASIS will contain (but is not limited to):
- Any Warranty Repair History
- Any repair or maintenance history aside from Warranty repairs
- NHTSA recalls (open or closed)
- The “As Built” data
- The VIN
- The Mileage (as of last visit)
- The Factory Warranty Start Date (which is the date the vehicle was first publicly sold)
- Any info as to if the car was a prior Buy Back (Lemon)
- Info if any part of the Factory Warranty was voided.
- Factory Warranty Terms and what is left
- Info if it has an ESP Warranty and its term
- Info if it has a Maintenance Contract and its term
- Owner info (current owner name, address, etc.). If prior ownership exists in the system, the Tech or Service Writer can redact or just black out that info on the printed report.
- Maintenance intervals

I mean, there’s nothing in that report that can’t be shared with a current owner who is able to prove ownership of the vehicle.

Also the only info that will show in that report as far as maintenance, warranty or non-warranty repairs is only if the vehicle was serviced at any Ford Dealer in the US States. It will never contain 2nd/3rd party outside mechanic shop repair info.

There’s plenty Ford Techs on here who will see your post and may send you a copy via PM.

(ETIS is the Euro-version of OASIS and contains the same data culmination).

The selling dealer was interesting to say the least, their shenanigans are part of the reason I got a deal on the car. I’m going to the local dealer on Monday to ask again
