Only at 3k rpm. It feels like metal is touching metal and everything in the car vibrates.

I also noticed
1st gear - same vibration
2nd gear - no vibration
3rd gear - no Vibration
4th gear - vibration
5th gear - Vibration
6th gear - no vibration.

I did the clutch test (5th gear 20mph, then floor it) and I have no clutch slip.

I have vibration in my clutch pedal with every shift.
In neutral (manual 6spd) when I rev it up, same vibration

Is it possible that the exhaust or header is hitting somewhere?

They told me the new engine has warranty. I’ll find out tomorrow if I’m getting another new engine and transmission

That’s a Friday arvo special for sure. Let’s get this engine in quick so we can fuck off for the weekend.
100% their fault and you will get a new engine and gearbox No reason for them not to honour that as it’s crystal clear what happened.

With all the engineering that goes into these machines perhaps adding the block saving brackets might be a good idea.
They may have cracked the bell removing the engine and said fuck it, move on, only so many hours for flat rate jobs.
