It's screwed up, but I am hopeful that ours are on their way too Drew, I suspect that anything going to the upfitters is for panel realignment or paint correction....just bad luck maybe.

I'm not sure what the reasons are for some cars being selected to head down the upfitter's lane and others not - panels and paint could be a couple of many.

I originally thought that the fact that I ordered OTT stripes might cause a delay of some sort, as I'm not sure where in the process that they are applied.

The worst thing about getting an upfitting guernsey is that they are located off site - so the car needs to be trucked there, 'upfitted' and trucked back.

I can easily see it adding a month to the process.

@Yuvraj's car was built on the 11th and is also on the way to or already at Baltimore!!!

But my cars build date was a day after yours so the 11th I think your car is probably getting transported to the baltimore aswell :clap2:

Unfortunately, despite the "your build is completed" email from Ford Au, Deysha confirmed I am in the upfitters merrygoround. Build date 11/12. Oh well, there are many like Bob, GRush, Paul etc that are worse off.

when is says build date, is this at 100% complete stage?

do they paint all white cars at the same time , then red etc. in batches or is each car one at a time

My build date was initially 2 December. Build completed 3 December.

I believe they paint whatever colour is next, no problems with the high speed nozzles they use

I went for a quick demo/walk around a new mustang at Ford dealership and it's even better than the pictures [emoji41] The last mustang I had seen was back in 2007. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised [emoji6]. I am sharing few photos, hope you folks like it.

Mate of mine just saw a car carrier heading south on the M1 at Dapto with a Ruby Red GT convertible on the back. Was the only Stang on board and took the exit towards Harrigan Ford, Yallah.

Saw two Mustang GTs today at the dealership. One Race Red and one Guard. Race red looks terrific, awesome, amazing, stunning.................. Guard looks good as well (no offence guard guys) :cheers:

Now I am starting to incline towards changing the colour to Race Red.
