I put through a second order, and am looking at similar options... but ones a 'vert, ones a Fastback, so could end up keeping both

Long time lurker, first time poster here.

Ordered my mustang in guard in Jan 2015, about a month ago I got a call from Ford Aus saying that my mustang will be built 30/11. Got my VIN number, but no window sticker yet. The etis site shows some build date of 30.11.0002, and the fact that its a manual, other that that nothing.

Is this normal? Also, the picture of the car on the etis shows a RED car, i'm assuming that is normal?

Hi there Paul. I ordered the month before you - how did out find out those details so early? Are you sure that they are accurate, that's really disappointing news if they are correct.

Ford Australia fucked up and gave a lot of people that date (including me) - no doubt misinterpreting the Etis data which is nothing more than a placeholder date.

PM Deysha (FordService) on the forum and give her your VIN - she will be able to provide you with a build estimate.

No window sticker indicates that your build is more than a week away - they usually turn up in the week before build.

Yes, everyone gets a red car on Etis.

Just heard from Deysha that I have a scheduled build date of 10/12 with an ETA at Baltimore of 28/12.

Deysha replied just over an hour ago to a message that I sent on the 26/11 - so the turnaround is running around a week at the moment.

Hardly surprising given the amount of PM's she must have to deal with!

Same here too I'd say. Mine started build on 25 November. Be interesting to follow our cars progress!

I've just checked in again on ETIS and found out a lot more detail about my Mustang. Quite a long list of features!

Build date was 25/11/2015.

Drew's link for the window sticker is also still working.
