NSC Number

Can some one tell me what an NSC number is and can it be used to track a vehicle's production?

I have the 4 letter number for my order and wondering what it is/means?

Nope just the nsc number

It's what Ford Australia call their stock numbers. They used to call them SIDO numbers but the name has changed.

So to have a stock number does that therefore mean there is stock - in other words has the car been made?

I also have have a different SIDO number listed on the screen shot.
Also note that the SIDO number is 6 digits numeric - while the NSC Order number is 4 digits alphanumeric.

- I suspect it is a internal Ford reference/order number for the factory.

Even on the euro thread there are orders with the NSC No. listed , so it must be a factory thing.

I've got both too, but don't know anymore than that except a proposed build date of Sept 1st (off dealers vista screen) and apparently a vin number due in next 10-12 days?
