My decision was based on:
Magnetic - looks to much like an Aston Martin
Red - Too much like a Ferrari
Yellow - too much like a boy racer/poser
BLACK - Well, it's Ford original colour and boy does it ooze Mustang!

But hey, beauty is in the eye of the beholder...

Hmm black was my second choice. They had one on the showroom with the black wheels. Black always looks great polished up if you have the time to keep on top of it as it looks so crap after 5 minutes driving....maybe I've got OCD. Had a few black cars....But mainly I didn't choose black because it hides the car's lines. Flying past it could be an Audi or a fricken 5 series BMW for gods sake...If I had gone black then it would have had to have white stripes.

A mustang IMHO should be a solid colour. Large solid colour cars draw attention. Mustangs need attention..

When it comes down to it everyone has their own taste and even some of the non-race red Mustangs on here look fantastic especially if you add a stripe or two... :amen:

defo true on the washing aspect... scuff marks much more easily seen..
but in terms on street presence.. it has it..

Was at the lights the other week, side by side next to Ferrari (I think classic 288), no lie but the guy walking across lights took his phone out and started taking pics of my Stang much to the dismay of the Ferrari owner.. just looked at him and shrugged my shoulders..

Getting silver rocker stripes soon, does that count?

Anyway, I went back to the car after a stressful visit to Argos last Saturday......honestly I fking HATE shopping.

So I am just getting to the car and I see a family standing round it and the Dad says "stand in front of it and I will take a pic"

Then he saw me and said "Oh sorry" and asked he=is boy to come away.

I said "Nah its okay" and told him he could sit in it.

I have never seen a lad with such a big smile on his face as he had his pic taken while sitting in the car.

A year on and I still love every single bit of attention it gets

And I am sure the "yeh but does it go round corners! comments have lessened!!

Agree, no point in bothering I concede that magnetic is the fastest colour. I don't have one yet of course but it's a huge relief to know when it does it will be Magnetic ! To be fair there is not a bad colour in the bunch, apart from one...........
