NT05R are not for those looking for long tire life, their max grip DR's so they last like 10k tops.

I've ran mine up to around 160MPH. The car in general feels a little floaty at those speeds. I really need to tighten up the suspension for runs like that. I have a registered 154 MPH pass at Wanna Go Fast a half mile drag race with them on the car. They are darn right scary in a down pour though. My car will break them free in 5th gear at 35mph by applying about half throttle. DO NOT USE THESE IN THE RAIN.

Have you gotten the back end tightened up now? bushings braces etc.

No not yet. I had some unexpected legal fees come up and it pretty much wiped out the car fund. I feel bad because I've been telling Kelly at BMR that I would be in around November to buy parts. :/

Good track tires but for the dig the r is meant for it
I prefer a more well rounded tire, a jack of all trades so to speak. While the nt05 is great for drag racing and the nt01 is better at road racing, I feel that the nt01 is the more well rounded of the two, if you take into account street ability.

Keep in mind I'm in Phoenix, I don't consider rain, snow or winter lol so take my opinion with a grain of salt haha.

In conditions like that yes the nt01 is the kind of the road

There's also the new r888r as well

I'm still a novice with tires, and learning lots. Haven't seen that one yet, more research for me. I really like the Yokohama ad08r but they do not make a 35 series in their bigger 19 in wheels so Idk how I feel about running them on a stang. I know they are not as good as an re71r but deal with heat better and last longer as well from all the reviews I have seen. I wish more mfgs would make more large (285, 305, and 325) 27in diameter tires.
