I was told in order for me to do a 150shot with a nx, plate kit I would need to do a progressive controller and BAP, so I dont lean out the rails. Is this true?

I ran a 150 shot without a boost a pump with no issues. Anything over 150 I was told by my tuner I needed one. I also ran the JMS DRY kit with the progressive controller. The dry kit prevents any lean spikes from sucking the rail dry. These fuel pumps have more than you need to compensate while spraying. Its a much safer way IMO

You never want to pull over 200 shot off the rail. only reason is you don't want to lean a bank out and kill the motor. Are there people doing it with 150 or 200 shot absolutely. They are using a BAP or have upgraded pumps as well. Personally for me I would never use nitrous with a 150-200 shot without having a dedicated fuel supply. You can use a progressive controller to help ramp in the nitrous and give you maximum traction. A 150 hit (all at once) will probably cause some traction issues depending on tire choice and suspension pieces. For sure from a dig you will break traction. roll racing not so much. Give the guys at nitrous outlet a call in Waco, Texas. Houston works in sales and can get you squared away 866-648-7637- ext 109.

Nitrousxpress makes SAFE standalone fuel system, I would look into that.

people are doing 150 shots on e85 without a BAP. The BAP just seems like an insurance policy. Ive asked a 100 different "experts" and half will tell you that you need a BAP and half will tell you that you dont. Take that for what its worth.

You don't necessarily need the fuelmax on a wet kit as the stock pump will support the wet 150 shot by itself. It's definitely good insurance though so if you can afford it why not? A couple hundred bucks to save a 15K motor makes sense to me.

We do however highly suggest the JMS nitrous controller so you can control what RPM the nitrous comes in and off at.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks, Jared
