Looks good. What's the white border?

Shame we can't go a bit darker on the front sides in the EU though.

The white border are these "dots" to make it look like you go from dark to window nice and smoothly.

Looks good.
Do you not allowed to tint the front windows ?

No chance on being allowed to tint the front windows in EU.

nice wheels

New wheels on. Wow! What a difference!!!! :eyebulge:

The Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres also makes a nice difference in ride comfort, compared to the standard (crap) Pirelli PZero's. Grip is superb

These wheels are HRE FF01 in colour "Fog" (Anthracite Matt).

No rubbing on full lock.

Front: 20 x 9.5 - 265/35/20 ET35
Back: 20 x 10.5 - 285/35/20 ET45

Just need to wait for the TUV papers now as the ones I received were incorrect....no problems. It will take a few days extra ;)
those wheels are better than those silver ones with too many spokes, imo. here in new zealand our GT comes with black wheels and the silver ones cost extra. im getting a black GT so ill probably just get the black ( for no extra) and then convert to an after market tire and wheel set up like you did. thanks Patrik for all the photos. tom

awaiting my 2016 black GT fastback

got curious to this "nano-tex" and seems it's the "latest and greatest" - several products/companies have this - even TurtleWax. Found one nanolex.de ?

I'm thinking of getting a full PPS detailing of my car when I eventually get it... and then use this for maintenance maybe? (It seems to be spray and wipe - so easy :D)

Also intrigued by the tower brace, and installation seems easy - just 4 bolts/nuts.

Damn you NewMustangDE - you are making me spend a lot of money now :D

Nice wheels too! :)

Thank you!

We are all here to help each other so just ask if you need to know something

The strut brace was indeed only 4 bolts and you actually use the existing ones at 55 Nm. Although its perhaps not needed on the coupe, it does make a difference.

This nano-tex thing may not be the most expensive way to detail a car but it certainly looks and feels great. Lasts around a year.

I'm getting a convertible so I can take all the extra "stiffness" I can have :) also found a brace from Steeda that goes on the under side of the engine room... (designed for those with large superchargers that can't fit the tower brace I think... not sure if both will do any good...)

Can you buy just any old wheel/rim for the Mustang? (I've never bought new rims for any car before as they've all come with 2 sets and I just change the tyres/rubber)... had a look at a local dealers website but they listed packages for BMWs Teslas etc.

Hey, here's a Q for you - how many turns end to end, on the steering? I can't find that number anywhere!!

Strut brace in a convertible will make wonders! It will drastically cut down on the shaking...

As for wheels, Germany seems to be quite a large market for wheels, also for the latest Mustang. Over here we need various papers to have them approved. Perhaps not so in Norway?! If no rules, the you could in theory get more or less what you want!

That would depend on what setting you drive on. For the steering there are 3 settings; normal, sport and comfort.

But those don't change the gearing do they? Only the power assistance, as far as I understand. The number of turns end to end should still be the same. At least that's what I've understood?

No idea. I think you are correct though.
