Hey all!

So I recently bought my first mustang ('15 V6) and I've been inspired to learn more about cars and modding. I even got a job at a mechanic as a technician so I can start learning, and also begin working on my own car.

So I'm interested in getting long tube headers from BBK but on their website they said you need a short x-pipe for the installation. I looked all over their website and noticed there are no x pipes for the '15 V6. Do previous year x pipes fit on the '15 V6?

I am also interested in performance tuning, but I can't find any official tuners for the '15 V6.

I'm hoping you guys could guide me in the right direction.

Thanks

Welcome! And congrats on the purchase!

Long tube headers from bbk are carry over parts from the previous generation mustang. While they do fit on our 15s it will require a 15 specific mid pipe. Now that is not to say the previous generation mid pipe will not be a close fit. My suggestion for you if you are set on long tube headers would be to by the headers and a mid pipe for the 14 v6. From here you can have an exhaust shop modify the mid pipe to fit the 15. A question that you will need to ask yourself is emissions... Going with long tube headers will remove the factory catalitic converters. If your state/area has emissions testing I would highly suggest going with a catted mid pipe.

Another seggestion would be to just go with shorty headers. The will allow you to retain your factory cats and will be MUCH cheaper.

Contact Torrie from Unleashed (member id: tmcphail) for performance tuning. To my knowledge he is the only tuner for the V6 currently.

Thank you for your reply! I cannot find any catted mid pipes. I can only find short and full length x pipes for the 11-14' v6's and a stock length x pipe for the 15' gt.
