Good afternoon,

I currently have a Base GT Auto with some minor bolt on's (CAI, Tune, Catback) and I am noticing more and more how bad the stock tires are at gaining tracting.

I decided I want to upgrade from the base GT's 18's to a 19" staggered setup with 255/40/19 wheels up front and 285/35/19 wheels in the rear.

I think I've narrowed it down to the TSW Barthurst 9.5 x 9.0 or the ADVANTI DST HY HYBRIS 9.5 x 8.5 along with some Continental DW tires.

My questions is will my stock suspension be able to support the new set up? Will the new tires be reliable in corner, spirited driving? Or is it necessary to upgrade the suspension immediately.

After reading a car and driver article on the effect larger tires have on a stock suspension I'm a little hesitant.

Thank you in advance for any help!

Your stock suspension will be fine with the upgrade in the diameter and tire sizing without any issues.

Ill guarantee that for you = )
