I have the unofficial 3.0, should I wait for the official release or do this update to go back to oem?

Depends which packages you've got installed relative to the 3.0 packages you'd find on the lot. If you've got the same setup as a 3.0 on sale today, then no big deal either way. In general, it's always best to wait for the official drops as then you're not dealing with any extra bugs prior to an official update going out...plus all the installer issues, etc. The officials include service release fixes and all that as well.

you have to do the 17276 update to fix that bug, its been addressed in there.,

answered my own question. once you update using the latest leaked version, you cannot use the official version :frusty:.........live and learn as they say lol

my wifi never updated on the owner.ford site so it always appeared as "2.2" since last year, so this popped up,.. do u need the official one? I can upload mirror or provide a "host" vin

the official version popped up on my owner ford page for my vin, but when I tried to apply the update, it started but then shortly after, it displayed a message stating my system was already up to date........

im actually on leaked 3.0, never had any wifi popup or any issues

No 2.3 notice for me either (non-nav). I'm running the Ford Released v2.2

It was last confirmed today (11/07).

I have a 2.3 update available on my '17 GT w/Nav. I've not yet updated yet.

2.3 is available for my V6 w/ NAV on Fords website (Sync system taken from a 2016 GT premium).

Guys guys!! update! important message!! there are FOUR versions of 2.3 (16 Nav/non-Nav) (17 Nav/non-Nav), don't be using 16 VIN if you have 17 or vice versa, ONE file will NOT work for both years! it could brick the APIM. thanks to a friend who warned me about it on pm.:hail: maybe this is why 3.0 update wiped GN for some modules.
