New Suspension and Wheel Offset

Maybe it is just me but I went from Roush coilovers (height adjustable) to Steeda Proactive shocks and struts with the sport progressive springs. To me, it appears that my front wheels are more tucked in, more than they were with the coilovers. Could this be my imagination or can changing the suspension do that. Thanks

define 'tucked in'. The Steeda combo is fairly low-riding. Also do you know what your current alignment is?

I mean the wheel doesnt come close to the fender. It is like the offset has gone from +35 to maybe +25. Just did the change yesterday and will look to get it aligned today or tomorrow.

If the Steeda Progressive springs lowered your car even more, than yes. Lowering the car forces the tires’ camber more negative, which will tuck the tops of the tires inwards.

Additionally, if your coilovers had camber plates and are now removed, you can also see a noticeable change in camber.

you have your understanding of offsets backwards. +25 moves the outer surface of the wheel outward (away from engine/centerline) vs what +35 accomplishes.

Without changing control arms or spindles, your wheels should be in the same place. A change in the upper mount (camber plates added or removed) can change the angle of the wheel and tire, which would cause the top of it to look like it moved. Get an alignment.

Thanks for the advice. I did add camber plates on the front. Getting an alignment tomorrow.
