@kapiteinlangzaam who’s tune are you running now?
Its a local tuner here in The Netherlands, they have a very good reputation across many platforms, but obviously dont have the wealth of ultra-specific experience that a company like Lund has.

Im not going to name them, as maybe its not the tune at fault. Its not a company anyone outside of The Netherlands or maybe Belgium will have heard of. :)

I had the same setup on my 16 gt and was tuned by palm beach dyno by Rob. Car never skipped a beat and never had any issues.

The VMP IAT kit arrived today. Got it on the car. Already had my base file waiting from LUND, so ive just been out and done the first log. Ive sent that back to LUND, so waiting on the first revision now.

Dakota is tuning the car.

Just want to say whoever decided it was a good idea to red-loctite a plastic sensor in to the motor needs a good slap. It came out OK, but left a serious amount of crap in the thread, to the point that the brass IAT from VMP wouldnt screw in past 1/3 way.

Had to spend ages painstakingly cleaning out the threads (being very careful) and then had to use more force than I would have liked to get the brass IAT in. But its in, and it appears to be working.

Hopeful signs, as even using this most basic LUND tune, the car didnt hesitate or misfire whatsoever. :)

I went through 3 tune revisions with Lund yesterday.

Im very happy with the results. I need to drive it a bit more to be sure, but yesterday absolutely no sign of the bucking/hesitating/surging etc. Just nice and smooth.

Power delivery @ WOT also seemed to be nicer and the butt dyno along with some Dragy times suggest its making more power.

Previous best 100-200 was 6.75s, now down to 6.44 on this Lund tune.

Hopefully this is problem solved.

so how is your car running? I have a similar issue with my car. My tuner got rid of 90% of the surge, but it’s still slightly there when cruising at a constant speed. It was unbearable before they made a few revisions.

Nice looking curve, but I'm ultimately disappointed. I was at least hoping for the 727 that Roush promise.

75f ambient
IAT2 between 104f - 113f.

This is a very honest / pessimistic Dyno. No BS. I drove 2h30mins to get some real numbers rather than pie in the sky stuff.

I hate it when they use different scales.

With that torque curve that car must be a blast to drive.

How do they measure HP at crank? Is it a calculated +10% value?

Yup, its an M6 car.

Ive emailed with Jon Jr at Lund and the numbers look good. 625whp is healthy and where it should be. The dyno conversion ratio they've used here in Europe for the bhp is out. With a 1.15-1.18 conversion its coming out at 725-735bhp crank, which is more like it.

Ill shut up and be happy now. And maybe ponder a killer chiller. :)

Those are good numbers for a stock 727 setup. Your TQ numbers are really high though. You would normally expect around 550 at the tires with one of these setups.
Is the surging completely gone? If so, I might give my tuner one more shot at clearing that up and then switch if needed.
Also, does your car buck at all at slower speeds when it's cold?
