To my knowledge, Watson Racing has the only other one to go 8's with a blower.

That car happens to be one of my favorites, but it is far from apples to apples.

My car is not as modded as many people think, and it does have the S550 specific components, like engine, trans, ECU and IRS style. As far as that is concerned, mine is the fastest I believe.

Awesome dedication to get it done! Congratulations

Was this with an aftermarket torque converter or are you still using the new one?

Do you know what the car weighs? I know you made some changes with the brakes, 9" and so on. Curious where it is at now.

I have read that thread. In it you mention you have a converter to test. Buy no mention of it being replaced. So are you still on the stock converter? It also doesn't mention weight after the changes of rollbar, 9" and so on. Was just curious.

Ironically, I am on the phone with the guy who is behind the converter. It is a BTS/PI unit.

I am currently on the STOCK Trans, and STOCK Converter as they came from Ford at this time.

As for the weight, I can only bench race as I havent scaled it recently. But the weight should be in the 3870 range based on the weights I have taken.

Thats impressive for a completely stock trans. Hell of a 60ft considering

Ya, that is inpressive to be in the 1.29 range on a stock converter. I can imagine some testing on a converter would further help that 60' time.

I was just curious on the weight. I figured it isn't a light weight so was curious.

The car is working well. Congrats.

Thanks! I do have some decent weight savings parts - but the 3705 base weight, the SC system, the 9" upgrade and the 100lb roll bar definitely dont help me out! lol

My tuner is very impressed with the stock converter, FWIW.

I also have a Circle D modded OEM converter to test along with the BTS/PI

Nice time slip:eyebulge: I don't care what you've done to the car, or if you're using a Chevy flux capacitor piggybacked onto a Bully Dog tuned ECU from a Hellcat, that's hauling ass! Congrats.
