I just recently purchased a used 2019 base model gt 6spd w/ 44k miles. It has a few mods but nothing serious, just a Roush CAI, Roush axle-back, an H-pipe res delete, and an sct x4 from bama.
I've been reading a lot of the content on here and it's a great community with great information that's helped a ton. I didn't really like the tune being run by the previous owner and came to this forum to look for a reputable tuner.
After reading reviews, it was very apparent Wengerd (others came highly recommended too) was popular and the reviews really stuck out to me. I don't have much in the way of mods but I wanted to be sure the car was running right.
Althogh I had an x3 for my old 2000 GT over a decade ago, I'm fairly new to tuning, especially datalogging. He was extremely patient with me, as I continued to ask questions and double and triple check things that probably didnt matter. I was so paranoid due to my brother bricking his ecu in his truck twice and didn't want to do that to mine. He walked me through the process, had me send him photos, videos, asked the right questions and was extremely responsive. I worked with another tuner 10+ yeaes ago with the previous car I mentioned and it was days and weeks I waited (still have the emails).
In my experience, he deserves the recommendations received on this forum. I read many posts saying you won't be disappointed with Wengerd and they were correct. I realize this looks like a yelp or google review but when you find people who treat you right and take pride in their work, it's deserved.
