Hello All,
New Bullitt Owner here from Houston, TX Checking in. I have K2140 bought new with 5 miles. It has the Electronics Package, Magne Ride, and Car Cover options. (although just found out the cover is missing). MSRP was $51,760, OTD was $50,500 including 6.25% tax and fees. No tint but had wheel locks so figured just under $47k sales price
Little background on me. Previously had a 2012 Race Red GT Premium 6 speed for 6 years, had full bolt ons and was around 425hp to the wheels. Traded that in for a 2017 Challenger T/A 392 6 speed in GoMango. It was an gorgeous car and turned heads everywhere. The performance wasnt as good as the Mustang, its a comfortable cruiser, but that bad boy had some torque! Anyway the maintenance on it was a nightmare ($3k brake jobs ever 25k miles, $150 oil changes every 5k miles, $650 more in insurance/yr) so decided to trade it in.
Really like the Bullitt so far, my only worry in getting it was people thinking its a ecoboost instead of a 5.0 since it doesnt have the badges. I think previous Bullitt editions had Bullitt on the front fender. My worries were realized twice the second day of owning it. Some guy stopped me in the parking lot and asked if it was the 4cly because it sounds like a V8. and Second some old RSX showing off trying to race me, ended up at a red light side by side and you could see the confused look on his face when he noticed the big red brembos but no 5.0 badge. Might end up adding some black 5.0 badges later on not sure yet.
Its ridiculous I had the Challenger for 2 years and no one every tried to race me maybe the color and black hood made everyone think it was a hellcat? Day 2 of having a Mustang and I get this RSX lol
FYI the MT82 is MUCH improved from 2012!!! might not even need to get a MGW this time around!
