Hi everyone this is my first post and first day to the forum! ive recently been looking to forge my '11 coyote internals (Boss Crank, Manley rods and piston heads and seals) for boost setup; more specifically the 2200 Novi Paxton. ive also just realized the new 2015s have forged internals. you guys think they will work with the older blocks and may save some cash once they are out and about?

They are not the same and not all forged like a Boss. You can buy forged short blocks pretty cheap from Ford Racing in a high/low compression configuration. It may provide a better value to your needs. It would be compatible with what you already have.

I'm talking about getting those parts lol not putting them in a newer block like I think you are thinking maybe? right now im all stock but want forged crank, pistons and rods. I was saying I was wondering if the same engine components that have been forged in the 15s will be swappable with my crappy cast internals. Hope that may have cleared the confusion.

The only part that is an upgrade from 11 to 15 is the rods. Your 11 crank is forged. You have cast rods and Pistons. 15= forged crank and rods. Cast Pistons.

Just call up any number of people (livernois, mmr, etc) and get the rotating assembly upgrade for your car. Or order a short block built and ready for you. Easiest way.

I think he's asking about keeping his current block but upgrading the internals. But anyhow, as these guys are saying it might be worth it just to get a better block as well depending on what power levels you're looking to achieve.
