Need replacement side view mirror cover

Something or someone hit my mirror in a parking lot and this cover has been missing ever since, is it possible to just replace this piece or will I have to get the whole mirror?

Go on eBay, look for “S550 Mustang mirror”, put your filter toy either used” or “new” and you will find a ton of take off mirrors, mirror assemblies, mirror glass, mirror caps (the outer painted shell), mirror projection lights, etc…

Don’t pay the exhorbitant new dealer pricing for something like that…

I got hit in a parking lot and the similar piece on the driver side mirror of my 2021 GT Convertible suffered a broken mounting tab. I could not find a replacement part and needed to replace the whole mirror assembly to get the part. Good thing the driver who backed into me paid.
