I think the local auto parts store had some exhaust adaptors that I could use to reinstall my stock mufflers just to test it out ..If it sounds good or better( less loud ) I would or could weld them back on ... I sure hate to lose the Roush 4 1/2 tips .. :( They look so damn good ..

You'll lose exactly 0hp going back to the stock mufflers, if that's the route you take.
I think most of the exhaust restriction is in the resonator (suitcase), not the mufflers, so you're probably right about the HP.

I run the stock mufflers with the resonator delete and long tubes with no cats and I love it. No drone and sounds good and not too loud.

This is exactly what I am going to do. I already got the long tubes with no cats and my stock exhaust back on. I have the resonator delete in my garage waiting. I was just wanting to hear if there was any drone before I decided put it on. If you don't like it too loud I think this is the best option.

What will that solve? He said it's too loud.

Throw your stockers back on, no need to worry about lost hp.
Removing the headers makes it not as loud. I wasn't simply adding to others response to the Corsa exhaust

I looked closely at the resonator (suitcase) when I installed the Headers ... Took a flash light and looked inside .. It's a straight shot right though it , it's not going to slow the exhaust flow down at all .. All it does do is tone down sound and remove any possible drone ..That is why nobody picks up and HP with a resonator (suitcase) delete.. The only real gain I see by removing it is weight loss ..I'm sure the guys with blowers would see some gains because they are moving a lot more air ..But on a stock motor it doesn't seem to help ..

I'm going to do a little testing ... I'm going to run it next week as is with the Roush Axle back .. Then the next week run it with the stock mufflers and see if there is any difference .. The MPH should tell us if there is anything lost or gained ..I'm not making any guesses on what happens , but my gut tells me it will run just the same with less sound ... I hope ...lol

I did this test with my Kawasaki zx14r , using the same header I tried 2 different mufflers ( one quiet longer muffler and one short muffler ) and both ran the same numbers ... As my header supplier told me before the test , "HP is made in the head pipe and the muffler had little to do with anything but sound" .. Let hope that rings true with the Mustang ..

If it does slow down with the stock mufflers I could always add eclectic cut outs like I did on my Road Runner ..Nice and quiet around town and then flip a switch at the drag strip and let it eat ..:D
