I had my car lower on steeda ultralite springs. I waited a week before i took my car in for an alignment. Right after the alignment, i notice my steering wheel feels loose. I took it back today for the tech to look at the specs again and he said everything was fine. Can someone please tell me if they align my car correctly. thanks!

Look at the front Caster numbers. More caster is typically harder to steer and less caster is easier to steer. Your caster appears to be less than the specification.

The rear camber is also out of spec, but that is not unusual on the rear because when you lower it, it runs our of adjustment. I think Steeda shows a part to address that, but every time I have looked, it has been out of stock. Rear camber, I do not believe, would cause your issue, but the caster could.

Just my opinion.

caster is off as said, do you have caster/camber plates? and that rear camber is too much negative, have him bring it down to at least -1.5, it is adjustable with the stock parts, dont let him tell you otherwise

I was recommend by a friend to this shop. This is the first time they work on a mustang. I asked him about the caster and camber issue but all he said was its align to specs. He also said the caster cannot be adjusted. Is this true? Look like i'll be looking for a new alignment shop.

Those final caster numbers are impossible to achieve even with caster camber plates.
What likely happened was either the front sensors moved or the the car rolled while on the alignment rack. Whatever the reason it is not likely the cause of the loose feeling. Maybe your steering mode is in the comfort setting?

Not smart enough to disagree, but why not? I have seen other cars that far out, but I have never personally done a Mustang, hence the question.

Thanks!

I don't think you will fix it until you get the caster fixed. Do a google search on caster and you will understand why.

More caster makes it go straight, less caster makes it easy to steer. We use to mess with it a great deal when my kids raced karts 20 years ago.

Caster is not adjustable on these cars without caster/camber plates.

I found a local shop that work on ford. Hopefully they can fix this issue.

I work at a dealer (not ford) as a front end/ suspension tech and I do alignments all day everyday on all kinds of vehicles. Most vehicles will only give 3-4 degrees of adjustability at most. His left front caster started at 7.7 and ended up at 2.5. I figure the tech did not have a brake pedal tool installed and since the front wheels sit on slip/turn plates, they "rolled" forward giving him negative catser.
