Hi All,

I have a 2016 GT with 39k miles. There are two noises coming from the front of the car that I am hoping someone can help identify.

The first noise (video 1) sounds like its coming from the front driver wheel. I started hearing this about 5 months ago. Sounds like a howling noise that increases with speed. This really only comes on at speeds of 50mph+. It's hard to hear in the video, but listen close when I let off throttle.

The second noise (video 2) can be heard at idle and sometimes at low speeds with windows down. Can be heard from either front driver or front passenger side, but a bit more pronounced on passenger side. It's like a metallic ticking sound. Sounds kind of like the timing chain slack I've seen people talking about here.

Any help is appreciated.

Regards,
Dom

Ok, I'll play.
I can't make out much from the clips.
But, the description of the "howling" would lead me towards a a wheel bearing.
The second thing I can't really help with. Maybe put it in the air and make sure there's nothing loose or hitting and/or loose suspension???

haha thanks man. im planning to bring it to my shop in a few days but thought it would be good to get some input here.

the howling can hardly be heard in the video, but its annoying af when you're on the highway

i've read 100 different things on this forum about what the second sound could be. hopefully i can pinpoint it when i go to the shop

The first is a wheel bearing.

The second is normal engine noises. Engines make noises.
